Feedback can be left about individuals, or companies and institutions when registered as groups.
Feedback may be left spontaneously by other site members, or in the interests of maintaining an up-to-date profile, users may solicit feedback, via email, from those with whom they have recently worked.
To safeguard users against factually inaccurate or unjustifiable feedback being left about them we have taken the following steps:
1) In order to leave feedback users must register, which involves an email verification process. This means a) we know who they are and b) we can contact them, if required.
2) Feedback has to relate to a work on a specified date so if necessary a nexus between you and the feedback-leaver can be verified.
3) The site is set up to email feedback to subscribers every immediately that it is left. If it appears factually inaccurate or unjustifiable, you will have the opportunity to make representations to the publishers.
4) All feedback is automatically quarantined for a period of seven days until we, as publishers, have ‘okayed’ it for publication.
5) In all instances, subscribers may comment on feedback to provide further explanation and commentary.
6) Finally, as a point of policy, in any instance where feedback is negative, as publishers we shall encourage dialogue between the parties for the sake of mutual understanding and personal development before publication.
